Roulette Versions

Roulette is one of the most popular casinos games, both in person
and at online casinos. People love to play roulette because it offers
payouts of 35-1 if you happen to hit your number. Roulette is not
always an easy game to win at in the long run, despite its popularity.

There are two main versions of roulette, the American version with
two zeros on the wheel and the European version with a single zero.
The house edge on the American wheel is 5.26% while the European
wheel has a house edge of 2.7%.
In roulette the spin of the wheel is supposed to be the same each
time with every number having an equal chance of hitting. It doesn’t
matter to the wheel what number or what color came up last. The
odds of the previous number coming up again are still the same.
The spins of the wheel are not related to the past spin. This makes
mathematical systems difficult to use in an attempt to beat roulette
but that doesn’t mean people don’t try. The Martingale
has been popular for many years as people believe that continually
doubling up after a loss will eventually result in a win. That may
be true but the table limits and the eventual losing streak means
              the Martingale ultimately will lose.
Roulette is a fun and exciting game to play at an online casino
because of the big payoffs. Take a shot and hope to get lucky as
              you play online roulette.
